Just tried flying this morning and appears that OTG weak transmission is back?

Worked when back on Wi-fi.

Nope. The last thing you should do is plug the cable in. I do it this way and it works perfectly for me on my iPhone 7+

RC on
Spark On
Open app
Plug cable in

You’ll then get a message about accessory not being supported. Should be fine from there.

I have the same equipment. Cable worked once but couldn't get it to work again. New mini 4. Only had a few minutes to play with it. Question: is there a specific sequence of power on, connection that you use?

See my post above.

This is how it's been working for me.

In Wi-FI settings turn off "Auto-Join" for the Spark RC or it will keep trying to automatically reconnect
Turn Bluetooth Off
Connect OTG end to i-pad or i-phone
RC on
AC on
Open DJI GO 4 App
Connect OTG cable end to RC
Dismiss "This Accessory may not be supported" message

"Trust this Computer" select Trust (enter your password if required)

Oddly with the i-phone 8, if I connect the OTG cable to the RC end first and then connect the I-phone last. It doesn't want to recognize the connection.

Thank you very much....

Doesn’t work for me that way. If I don’t connect otg last it just doesn’t see it. You’d think it’d be the same for everyone.

Anybody got it working with Android yet? Tried 4.2.4 from playstore but don't shows the data with otg cable.

Really:mad:  No OTG support for Android.

I think the DJI developers should visit Europe and try to fly the Spark with wifi only.
I can fly my toy drone higher and farther away, than the Spark.
