When I start Go4 it gives me the update reminder message (the one that lets me click I know or ignore). I've updated the ac,rc,and extra battery along with go4. Am I missing something? I'd think that this message would go away if everything was up to date.

I discovered during my vacation that my cords are perfectly fine and you were absolutely correct - connection sequence is important. All I needed to do was connect the phone cord and adapter first, then connect to the RC.

Just in case someone sees this with the same issue - I purchased an OTG cable and now Go 4 works with my Spark and Android device. However, you need to connect the cables in the correct order or it won't recognize the device. There are other threads on OTG connection and they go over the steps...

Understandable, but if you fly the Spark in sport mode it is REALLY easy to lose it in an instant. You can still hear it but it's invisible. That's why it's so nice to look down at the screen and figure out which way Home is and fly back.
