I'm flying with an S8+ and haven't had any issues as long as LOS is clear. Control remains stable but video feed gets sketchy flying at great distances or around obstacles. Haven't flown since the latest updates. So maybe it's better now?

Not according to what I watched. Just hovering there was a 30dB difference between the two, in favor of the Mavic. 60+ for the Mavic, 90 for the Spark. Though that may be attributed to the different pitches due to prop size.

So, I watched a video about the new Mavic and saw that to cut down prop noise, they redesigned the ends of the blades. Makes you wonder if they'll do the same to Spark props...? While the Spark is small, she puts off quite a bit of noise. It would be great if they could cut that down by... Say...

Update: Shipped out my Spark last Wednesday to have DJI fix it. Just got notification today that they are going to replace the gimbal/camera unit under warranty. And now the long wait for her to come back... Which is probably fine since the winds have been blowing pretty hard here lately.

I did use a filter, but I didn't notice any image degradation. But that's not saying much with the difference between screen resolutions. The filter is titled "vivid" so I didn't expect any pixelation. Maybe I'll try brightening things manually...

I'm using an S8+. Love the big screen. However, it's my daily phone, so I may downgrade to an old S5 to use as my monitor.

I love my Spark, but I may end up getting a Mavic too. I love the compact form factor and camera qualities of both. However, I'd like to be able to fly for longer than 12 minutes with the Spark. The Mavic should give me more, but still remain a compact package.

Nothing compared to some of the previous posts... But I've only had my Spark for a few weeks now.
