Was pleased to test this out this evening and see that with dynamic home point activated I could be running/cycling and not have the 100m restriction from take off point. Maybe this is common knowledge but in case it helps anyone else to find this then [emoji106]

Found a thread elsewhere suggesting the taping over of the sensor may actually work DJI Spark unable to descend above the fog: scaring!

Would love to know if a way of safely flying in mist. When rising above it can be so good to film and photograph. I’d be disappointed if I felt the Spark couldn’t handle this.

Check your home insurance. If you are covered for personal possessions outside of the home then good chance you are ok. LV and Aviva cover drones on this basis and include personal liability. Call them to be sure.

Goal isn’t to catch a whole run but rather a few shots here and there along with footage captured from other cameras as well e.g. GoPro and phone itself

The gain is not having to hold a controller and phone whilst running.

Can Autopilot be used without RC? I’d like to do Active Track when out running. Would be nice if could do it Phone only.

I’m looking to do this when out for a [emoji125]‍♂️. I’ve tested active track with phone and RC. RC definitely better but less convenient. I’d like to be able to use Autopilot app without RC but can’t see if that is possible. Flying with RC is great but agree that there is a lot to be said...
