    Thanks for the info. I live in Ontario but have yet to start investigating my options for insurance. Will be interested to hear if anyone else in Ontario or other provinces has looked into this.

    If no telemetry and no battery readings I consider this much the same as OTG not working at all.

    That is true. DJI exists to make money like every other company. The bottom line is what drives this company and making good quality drones that sell will feed that bottom line. I'm OK with this.

    Iannes do you have a CS? I do and it does not work with Spark Controller OTG and CS. CS uses Go 4 app version 4.1.18

    Dan, you cannot connect the Spark controller to the Crystalsky with a cable, it doesn't work. Wifi is the only way right now.

    I just received this skin kit but decided to just use the part that covers the top of my white Spark. Sometimes less is more.

    I was able to download offline maps using a method that was posted on the CS DJI forum. Basically turn on wifi and connect to a network. When you open the Go 4 app on the CS select the Inspire instead of the Spark. Tap the 3 lines icon at top right and look for the offline maps selection and...

    Good luck with Best Buy. They are pretty **** when it comes to returns or exchanges of anything RC. Once the box has been opened they basically wash their hands of it. I hope you find the problem......maybe call DJI support.

    I posted the link above. Can be ordered online. Its just a mount to hold the Crystalsky to the controller (RC). The connection is by WiFi.

    Right now Dan the only way is to connect to the RC via WiFi. I use the Evolution3d mount. DJI Mavic CrystalSky Mount

    OTG wouldn't work anyways with Spark and Crystalsky since Crystalsky is still using version 4.1.18

    Presently I'm using Android 4.1.15 on my android phone and of course my Crystalsky is stuck on 4.1.18, but that's another story. Can someone confirm whether or not offline maps is available on the latest Go 4 for Android (4.2.4) ?
