New flyer here with a question I couldn't seem to find the answer to. My wifi (iOS) will automatically connect to the strongest wifi network, it has done so several times when I try to update my spark and batteries. I am scared this is going to happen when I'm actually flying my drone and I will lose connection. I usually fly a ways from my house and I also know due to a friend with iOS 11 beta that once it comes out you can prioritize wifi networks which will be nice. I don't want to forget any networks and I know that's a solution, but is there any other way?

Hi. Hope I've understood your question...

From what you've written your Spark isn't doing anything wrong. It needs to connect to another network when updating the rc, batteries, spark. If it doesn't it can't download the software updates. Once it's downloaded them, it will ask to reconnect to the Spark to start the update.

You can test it safely by moving the Spark away without turning the motor on. You will see what happen.
I am not an IOS specialist, so no experience on that.

It hasn't disconnected yet so I think you guys are right. Thanks for the advice. It must have to disconnect when it's updating. I'm just being careful as I've done my homework and want to be a responsible and also safe drone pilot. And don't want to lose my drone! Although I did lose reception today, I was impressed with the RTH feature, it landed literally inches from where I launched it! Wow.
