Looking for assistance
Equipment: Spark & Iphone running dji go4

Situation : 1. took off upto a height of about 30 m & tried to fly the drone towards our point of interest.
2. drone started going in opposite direction and did not 'appear' to respond to remote ( iphone)
3. drone eventually want out of range & landed in the ocean.
4. drone was recovered ..

1. Is it possible to tell from the logs if the drone was functioning well / responding to rudder inputs ? ( i see gps had not locked on)
DJI Flight Log Viewer - PhantomHelp.com
I have also tried to use csvview but cannot find any trace of RC inputs ( probably due to iphone)
2. Is there a better tool to use to diagnose what happened.

Thanks

I'm very new at this but it looks like you had 0 satellites on take off then had some sort of interference.

0 satellites is correct,
doing some digging, I found a flight analys program giving the attached detail.
  • it appears that app inputs are not recorded, (ideally I would like to see inputs vs drone reactions) - does anyone know if this is correct? is there other logs for the app ?
  • interesting trying to piece together a 3D record using only hdg, pitch, speed (not sure how calculated), - vectors ? to determine distance from RC when it disconnected at 88 seconds
  • upto 66 sec it had been facing 196 degrees at 9m height
  • 68 sec GPS off followed by compass error
  • heading changes 90 degrees - low speed , read not much distance travelled
  • 20 seconds later disconnects at height 12 m
dji not responded yet -
