Palm Bay, Florida.
Newbie here. Had my dji Spark less than a week and very excited with the possibilities and having a ball. Reminding myself not to get too far ahead of myself and work on establishing good habits such as preflight checks including such things as WiFi status, compus and all. 62 years old and I feel like a kid again.

Hello from the Hoosier Heartland, Drone Ranger.

I seen a shuttle launch once.

You've probably seen all types of launches

Unfortunately, you probably have a lot of NFZ or NOTAMs in your area as well..

Welcome to the Forum.

Actually my house is situated between an airport to the north and a heliport to the south. North the restriction is close but avoidable. South it’s far enough away that unless I get overly cocky it’s not an issue. As far as launches go I have watched a few from my living room window. KSC is 25-30 miles away as the seagull flys.

Perhaps I’ll see ya in the sky sometime. Do you have a favorite place to fly? We used to have an abandoned golf course where I saw drone pilots frequent a lot but they’ve recently developed the area.
