Question from Newbie: Quickshots

Hey all!

I am BRAND NEW so I apologize for the elementary question.

I don't have the Spark controller so I am just using my iPhone SE. I have not used any of the quickshot presets yet. I would love to try to the Rocket or Droney but I'm worried my WiFi signal isn't sufficient when I do those presets. Anyone have experience or advice?

Hello @LarryInNM .Even though I strongly recommend getting controller, I don't think you'll have to worry about losing your wifi signal while shooting quickshots. After shooting, your bird will return to the starting position, so even if you lose signal during the quickshot, you'll be able to reconnect when it comes back. You might want to inspect your surroundings thoroughly before performing quickshot though, because if you lose your signal, you won't be able to stop your drone from hitting nearby objects (obstacle avoidance is disabled).
