I thought the Spark was doing a good job of stitching panos..... until now.
I downloaded DJI media maker from the Osmo downloads page.
Then I shot a pano and stitched it doth ways.
HUGE difference.
Examples below. These are both the same Pano, one processed by the Spark and one in DJI media maker.
Not only is the file bigger with MM, it seems to have done a better job at eliminating the props in the picture.
See for yourself the difference.

Here's another comparison from tonight.
These are both stitched from the same set of images.
Not only is the resolution better, the Media maker version is less distorted and far better looking.
8.9MB stitched by Spark and 38.3MB in Media Maker.
The 8.9MB version from the bird is 300dpi and 8.14" wide.
The 38.3MB Media Maker version is 300 dpi and 20.58" wide.

No brainer as to which will print better.

Wow that’s a huge difference!

Hi Guys

I know its an old post but wondering if you can help? I can't get DJI media maker on mac to produce my panos. I find the folder i want and drag it where indicated. Both 180 and 360 just produce an image that looks like its made up from one photo. (its the 9 shot panos i want to stitch) PTGUI trial can produce them fine but obviously trying to use some free software.

cheers

paul
