I got it to work now! Actually nothing to do with the gps, all I need to do is to reset wifi inside the app, when I reboot the drone and remote, FCC is on, I'm now on 11 channels. If I don't reset wifi, it stays in CE mode no matter what.

Hi, just downloaded the modded app 2.0 (red icon version) onto my huawei p9 leica running android 7.0, am keen to fly tomorrow and get snow shots . I have a few questions, what are the differences between the 2.0 modded version and the 1.1.1 LITE version? does the 2.0 version include all features of the lite? - Also, do the apps support otg cable connection? Thanks!

They do support otg, lite app has support to download offline maps, lite must be installed alone, features are the same.

But I was wondering. Spark and Air use the samen app.
Does your MOD wordt on the Air?? Or will there be a version later?

I don't think you can use this app for the Mavic Air. The version of the app is older than the release of the Air, so I doubt it would even recognize yours.
I could be wrong though, it could work with some limited functionality.
Hey there, I am super happy to say that the 2.0 APP works flawlessly for me, where the v15 stock was not.
I am running the .701 aircraft firmware and .400 on the controller. Also I use the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with it.

There are two versions of this mod, each with specific feature sets:

- Can be installed next to DJI GO 4 MOD 2.0 but NOT the official DJI GO 4 app from the Play Store due to having the same package name

Both Apps Feature:
- Forced the TX power to FCC limits
- Enabled Intelligent Flight Modes from the Mavic Pro for the Spark
- No forced updates - firmware or app
- Enabled the option whether to cache video locally or not. May reduced crashes and CPU-load if switched off
- Fake login - You can either login with your real account (online) or use the fake accout. To use the fake account you have to go offline (airplane mode) and put any non-numeric characters in the login box
- Make DB Public for non-rooted devices @ /mnt/sdcard/DJI/dji_mod_{version_string}.db for offline flight planning
- Enabled Spark Wi-Fi Channel Select on OTG
- Remove check for rooted devices
- OTG Support
- Sphere Pano Support
- DJI GO 4 Ver. 4.1.15
Why two versions? Due to the additional features that are added during app cloning and changing the package name, the Here Maps API Key becomes invalid. This is why you cannot install the DJI GO 4 MOD 2.0 LITE side by side with the official DJI GO 4 app, because it keeps the same internal name, but allows access to Offline Maps.

Mods; If this thread is against the forum rules by posting links to modded software, please let me know so I can remove the links. There seems to be a legal grey area around posting modified software, but I see it no different as to remixing a popular song and releasing it for free. As long as everyone here understands that they're downloading a modified version of the official DJI GO 4 app, I believe it's perfectly acceptable. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Did I see a post showing that this allowed Sport Mode without using a controller? Does anyone know how to enable Sport Mode with this?

I don't think that is possible. Even if it is, noone should try it as firstly the range allowed on phone wifi is short and secondly in sports mode the control is far too sensitive for touch screen controls, you will either lose control or simply crash the drone into something
Well I’ve got a bit annoyed with the CE range and signal strength so yesterday I went out and bought an Acer Iconia One 7 which I’m going to use as a dedicated device for the spark. It fits nicely in the holder and seems to run the Mod 2.0 app fine.
Going to give it a test run this afternoon. Also got an OTG cable on the way as I find it less hassle than the WiFi on iOS.

The only feature that I don't have like in this app is automatic Wi-Fi on. No need for those using OTG.
Anyway does someone have a clue why this app is crashing on my Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus while original DJI GO 4 and NLD GO apps are stable as a rock?

Hi, first of all thanks for this great app I can use my otg again. I bought spark not too long ago and enjoy it with otg because wifi connection was very unstable, then suddenly after update I can't use it anymore. Luckily I found this app, so thank you for the hard work and release this app for us. Btw, I have two questions :
I am using otg to connect phone to RC. It connects well. I just want to ask regarding the Frequency setup, if anyone can explain and give a correct steps to follow.
I want to use 2.4GHz, but after I manually choose 2.4 it keeps switching back to 5.8GHz just few second after I go back to main screen. How to fix it to 2.4GHz?
Also in the wifi setting - channel selection I don't have graphical bars to show each channel (red, green, blue) bars.. it's just empty. Is it normal?

Just got back from testing this app the mod go app with Samsung s8 7.0 android and it was brilliant no disconnections only went up 190 feet and about 300 feet away from me. How do I know if it's using the fcc not ce or does it do it automatic?
If you got channel 1-11, then youre FCC, if you got 1-13, then you're CE.
Check in the Wifi tab.
