Try turn off your Bluetooth too. That interferes on some phones. Chanel 1 to 13 are 2.4 on CE Chanel 1 to 11 are 2.4 on FCC (long range mod for UK)

I just done the FCC mod and no need for OTG. Still yet to confirm not 100% Before FCC mode OTG worked better but couldn't display or see any WiFi settings or channels in go app. WiFi shown them but not OTG. Since I put FCC mod I flew 300 perfect on WiFi. Double than before. Still to try...

I bought mine from napkins. All updated only fly's 150 max. Just done the FCC mod and got 300 no problems. Yet to go further. Is yours on CE or FCC assuming your in the UK? I have read somewhere that the newer made sparks come with less powerful transmitters for the EU. Maybe yours is an older...
