    Tablet question

I tried the whole budget tablet thing and also used my everyday phone as well. The budget tablets and none of them worked well. I used the modded apps and the standard apps too. The Spark was very temperamental at best. So finally, I broke down and bought a iPad 9.7 inch 6th Generation. All I...

    DJI GO 4 MOD 2.0 | DJI GO 4 MOD LITE [ Additional Features | Android | App Ver. 4.1.15 ]

I have been using the regular modded app for quite a while now and I truly like it better than the official app. I'm using it on an old phone that is no longer active. It's an LG Stylo 2 and it works perfectly on it. I love in a very Wi-Fi congested neighborhood and I can get almost 4000' of...

Wait to upgrade to latest firmware

I figured it out. I had to revert to old firmware and then let the app do it's update. It all worked out in the end.

Wait to upgrade to latest firmware

DJI Go App update! (android 4.2.21)

I am currently using the 4.2.21 on an LG Stylo 3 running Android 7.0. It seems to work perfectly. I just ran 2 batteries in 90+ degree weather and all was well. Got out to the furthest I felt comfortable with (about 2500') and the video feed was rock solid and my 1+ year old spark did exactly...

    Which App to Use

I can't decide which app to use. I currently have the DJI Go 4 official version but I am using the 4.2.16 version. I have had the most current version and I lose connection at maybe a couple hundred feet out. With 4.2.16, I can get good distance and it's rock solid. But with the modded app, I...

New update of dji app android...

Was on the newest update. (4.2.20) Everything worked but a lot of bugs. Lost GPS twice, front sensor sensing things that weren't there. Got 800 feet away and lost connection. So I reverted back to 4.2.16, all problems gone. Wish DJI would leave well enough alone.

    Home Point Updating..!!!

If you set the home point before taking off, then ascend to at least 30 feet, when you engage RTH, the Spark will use "Precision Landing." You will even see a message on the Go 4 app and the Spark will move quite dramatically during landing. I use this all the time and I get within just a few...

    Who's left..?

Can't remember the exact name but if you search for DJI Go 4 Modded you'll probably find it. There are 2 links to the app. One is the full version and one is a lite version. They are both actually full versions though. I have used the regular one and everything works except the follow me mode...

    Anyone in Pennsylvania

I'm a bit further out than that. About an hour outside of Pittsburgh. A little old Steel town called Monessen is where I'm from but I now live across the river in Charleroi.

    Who's left..?

No real comparison there. The Hubsan is a good drone but way overpriced. The camera is not stabilized and the follow me mode always results in a "toilet bowl" effect. If I had to choose between the 2, I'd pick the Spark hands down. Hubsan's are very fidgety and they land hard. They also don't...
