Nah...OTG cable and/or range extenders are worthless. Mine works fine on WiFi alone and I've seen over 10,000' range in ideal conditions.

Worthless. I have seen ranges over 10,000' in ideal conditions WITHOUT any kind of extender/reflector.

I have both and the Spark's noise seems to be a bit more high-pitched and irritating...and I am still running the regular Mavic props. Wait until the low-noise ones come out.

You know that in America...you're allowed to own two drones. I own both the Mavic and Spark. They're each fun in their own right.

What about the Spark aircraft itself. My password has rubbed off from battery insertion. Does it matter?

Thanks for all your replies. Now, that I've worked out (what I call) the bugs...I really like mine, now. It's a nice diversion from flying the Mavic. Plus, I don't have to get out of my lawn chair between flights with the hand catching. Additionally, charging is fast. I don't really care...

Several months ago, I posted on a Mavic forum where an Apache(?) helo was circling me in the southern Arizona desert as I was flying my drone on public land. I had to literally hold up the controller for him to see it and he eventually flew off. I believe he may have either been shooting T&Gs...

Guys...thanks for all your help and replies. I upgraded the Goggle firmware and booted up all the devices before connecting anything up. Then, the goggles finally worked. Nothing as easy as the Mavic, but it worked nonetheless. Cheers!

Thanks! Very interesting on the difference in cables. I can sometimes get a link by unplugging/replugging the OTG from the controller, but that doesn't always work. I may go buy the BB version!

I have the DJI Goggles for my Mavic and they work great. However, I could only connect the goggles to my Spark ONCE. Now, there's no connection. I have a generic OTG cable which connects to a USB/Micro USB cable. Is there a sequence of operations to make it all work together?

Did you ever get yours to work? Mine doesn't.

I have all the parts, but I'm still not able to connect my DJI Goggles to my spark. I have the OTG connector and the micro USB to my goggles.
