Just tried it inside and it appears it's just an app update requiring no Spark firmware updates. However on powering up it requested that I connect to a network to update my no fly zone list. Beware.

New DJI Go 4 update 4.1.9, released the 30th of August. This will make everyone happy who's still trying to install version 4.1.7. Don't know if this means there's a new firmware update for Spark, but it was mentioned for DJI Go. Improved notifications, bug fixes. Can't wait. More notifications

Do you switch to palm take off and landing or you in regular flight mode? Do you just land on your palm with the RC, then shut down by pulling back throttle and waiting 3 seconds?

Check out what version of DJI Go you have. It's possible Spark, RC and battery were updated without the DJI Go updating. Make sure you have version 4.1.7 on your mobile device. If you don't, you'll just have to wait till it downloads so that you'll be able to upgrade additional batteries with...

Check and compare firmware version numbers in the About menu of the Spark. In the camera view.

Can you set the Spark to automatically choose the strongest and best wifi channels within the 2.4 or 5.8 modes like the Mavic? It appears that you need to manually pick the channel within the 2.4 or 5.8 modes. Thanks.

Over on the DJI forum this issue has been discussed. It appears that after updating to latest firmware with DJI Go 4, if you have additional batteries, they need to be updated with DJI Assistant. Not sure if this happens with everybody, but it does with quite a few. That's a fine howdy do.
