Turn around on FAA Part 107 Waivers & Authorizations

Just put in a request to fly within 5 miles of the air force base (the park is about .1 miles inside the 5 mile radius). The site says they can take up to 90 days to review the requests.

Does anyone have any experience in how long they actually take to get back to you?

I do not have experience with the waiver process. However, they are now rolling out LAANC. So, if you get your part 107 you can use Airmap app for instance access.

Based on reports on the Phantom and Mavic forums, people are experiencing 90 to 120 day waits for their waiver/authorization approvals.

As the LAANC system is rolled out, the approval times should drastically be reduced.
