Spark after comaps calibration fligh away

Hi i got situation from yesterday. I go to ones of my place to take some fotage. I calibrate comaps as always start flying and in second my dron was starting fligh away. I was looking at my kids and them on dron but he hit wall and drop into a river. Comaps was calibrated, gps was ok info days ready to go. No atti mode. And sudendly gr do this thing. It was my fault ? I didnt use litchi or another 3rd party soft. I dont have dji care or care refreash any sugestion What to do ?

I heard this has worked (I never tried it) but being it was in water try putting it in dry rice a few days. Suppose to suck water out of the electoral components

Yes. I remove battery and put to dry rice. I didnt remove top couse waranty. I dont think it’s my fault. I got home point bean updated msg. No change to waranty replacment ? I got log flight in csv.

Mine took a fall into water a while back. I put it in front of fan to dry it out. I also put into rice later to get out moisture but I think the jury is out on whether rice is that effective.

I’d be curious to know how it hit the wall. Seems like sensors would have stopped it.

All is ok. After a while i also dry him and put into the rice. After few days he was fling like new one. On the begining i was not trasting him at all but after secerals times in air i put trust on him again. Now hes ok

Why did you calibrate compass?

If you upload your logs, maybe someone specialist in this forum, could solve the situation for you.

I calibrate my compass on my spark every time I move locations.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Spark.

Regarding Compass calibration, personally I don't feel it is a wise practice to calibrate at any new place of flight.

My reason - A compass is very sensitive to the environment around it. Large masses of metal, iron, power lines, etc can easily give contribute to a poor calibration. I calibrated my Spark compass in a large open field with no surrounding masses or utilities a while back. I've traveled with the Spark several times and have never had to re calibrate.

Most compass errors on the DJI app are because the spark is too close to interference. Just move it away instead of re calibrating it with an error.
