After I have flown my Spark I charge each battery (3) before I store them away until next flying time but several days later when I am ready to fly my batteries are at around 50 -60%.
Anyone experience anything similar?

This is a normal protective function of the "smart" battery. Its designed to extend battery life and will happen every time.

No reason charge up before storage unless you plan to fly within a week. Best practice to arrive with 100% full battery is to charge the night before (or morning of) flight.

One tip of advice, never store a battery charged to 100% for long periods of time. I did this a couple of years back and ended up having one of the cells fail within the smart battery. I always try to run my batteries down to 35% or lower now when flying. From the literature I’ve read, this is much better on the life of the battery.
