Yes. I don't fly sport mode with my Spark anymore due to this fear. No problems otherwise. DJI replaced my first spark, for two flyaways that I was able to recover, while it was in sport mode. After receiving replacement I flew sport mode once and lost normal control and never tried again...

The difference in video and pic quality is minimal from Mavic Pro and Spark but when you fly both you can feel how superior Mavic Pro is to Spark in terms of speed, control, and range. I like having both, but I trust Mavic Pro over Spark.

I have birds every time I fly at my house. They are always interested and make me nervous every time but in over 20 flights they've never collided. I suppose I am getting more confident and paying less attention but I'm sure it can happen. I'm always prepared to go run and catch it before it...
