It only says that under the “Fail Safe” paragraph. What the drone will do when RTH is triggered due to low battery is very ambiguous in the manual and I quote “the thresholds for these warnings are automatically determined based on the aircraft’s current altitude and distance from the home point”

For a “Low Battery” RTH, selecting the “Return at current altitude” function in the DJI GO 4 App serves no purpose. That function only works for “Fail Safe” That is a quote from DJI to explain why my Spark went into the trees

That is how it SHOULD work!. I was 20m away at 3m altitude and on RTH it flew up into a tree. It is cuurently at DJI for repair

Received notification that my drone would be replaced and the cost was $69. They said it was my fault. I asked if they had diagnosed the problem from the data. Silence. Then they asked if I would send them the flight records (as you described how to do)

I have already been convinced that this failure was my fault, so it does not matter what DJI thinks. I see errors all the time between what is recorded and what the drone is doing, especially on DJI GO 4, e.g. drone is on landing pad and altitude shows 5 ft; same for airspeed.

The data may show that, but that is not what happened.

The low battery triggered the RTH. The RTH at current altitude switch was enabled. I was surprised when the drone continued to climb. I tried to stop the ascent with throttle and then by pressing the RTH button to cancel the process. I believe I was too late before it became entangled in the...
