I flew in -29 C last winter without any problem, just keep it and especially the batteries warm before flight. Keep it a bit shorter as well and you'll be fine.

I believe that the cold is not a problem, yes you need to keep the battery warm and the flight time may be a bit shorter but that's a minor problem. But around freezing point (0 degree C) is another deal, it's probably quite damp outside and you get ice buildup's on the props that will show up...

Probably not, they will keep updating and fine tune the spark and maybe, and just maybe ad a new safe fly feature in the future but i'm sceptic, the ir-sensors are probably not good enough to detect the new gestures.

The spark is still a great lite drone, and will attract they who don't what to spend much money but want something that's better then a "toy". They who bought it right before the price drop this winter may be a bit disappointed, they don't get much back when they try to sell it.

Yes, me to, bought the combo first but sent it back due to malfunction gimbal, main wile i waited for the refound i bought a charge station then after i got money back i ordered the spark at a local webshop and the controller separate and som small stuff more.. now with all and all i'm almost up...

I ordered that one, bu it will take a couple of weeks before i'll get it, keeping my fingers crossed that it works. The current is a little bit less then the original wall charger but with a bit of luck that means only it will take a bit longer to charge.
