I pulled the battery out and inspected everything. The pins look fine and there are no obstructions in the battery area. I have a call in to a local repair shop. Waiting for a call back.

Well it finally happened. I went flying with a friend last week and ended up hitting a cypress tree and my spark fell into a lake. Fortunately it was close to shore and I was able to wade out and get him back. It was submerged for maybe a minute. I pulled the battery right away and took it home...

Sort of on topic here, but you guys have any problem seeing your tablets in daylight? I am Android user and my 8 inch tablet washes out in bright sunlight. Thanks

OTG does not effect flight distance, but will give you better video transmission range. The OP was referring to the video dropping out at around 300m

I am dying for a bigger display, and I have an 8 inch Android tablet. But, without a sun shield it is just not bright enough to see in daylight. Plus it does not have a wireless account so I have to update everything from home first, or use my phone as a hot spot.

No my Spark still does this on occasion. I started to send it back in but decided not to, I just didn't want to be without my drone for that long. Please let me know how long it takes to get yours back and if they successfully repair it. I may still send mine back

No I have no decals on the drone. I always hear about people leaving the stickers on the sensors when they first get the drone, but mine did not have any protective stickers when I unboxed it.

I am in Florida as well and I continually get the altitude error. Once I am above 10-15 feet the altitude readout will continuously bounce between actually altitude and somewhere in the single digits. It doesn't matter if I am flying over land or water. It's annoying, but doesn't seem to effect...

Any other news on this issue?? I have been having the same problem with my spark

Thanks, is there anywhere in the forum where members discuss good flying locations? I tried a few searches but did not see anything. Where I live in Orlando I am between two airports so I can not fly from my home I have to travel a few miles, so I am looking for good scenery suggestions. Thanks!
