Girth67, I tend to agree with you. But remember, the Spark is probably regarded as the baby cousin of the bigger DJI drones, more for fun. It has a lot of potential, maybe DJI are exploring the more "amateur" market to launch their products? Still, their products are top notch.

Try uninstalling and re-installing the app

Check on your Play store, it should give the version of the app. Did you install the "DJI GO 4 - For drones since P4" app?

Sorry, I meant old app version 4.1.10 which doesn't have the Pano Sphere option. Install the new Dji Go 4 v 4.1.15 app from The Android Play Store

Looks like your firmware is still the old 4.1.10 and not the new one 4.1.15.

It is available on the Play store, I updated from there. Haven't had a chance to fly yet though

Yay, v14.15 update via Play Storeroom. Now to see if all still works tomorrow. Winds at gale force on Cape Town, so hopefully it quietens down tomorrow.

I'm not sure, I downloaded the v4.1.14, but haven't installed it yet for Android. I think it is sometimes worth the wait till officially released by DJI, especially considering the quick release of firmware 701. Unless, I'm too chicken....??

They're both the same, one is just a newer version, look at the upload date. The newer one was uploaded 1 Nov.
