Photospheres often fail because props are in the pic

Has anyone else experienced this? It seems that I can only get photospheres if the sun is directly overhead and there is zero wind. Otherwise the props cast a shadow on the camera when it's taking the slightly upward-looking pictures, and it stares at that point for like 10 seconds before...

    Spark Pano.... wow!

I have taken a few panoramas with mine, but to be honest, DJI's stitching kinda sucks. The images produced are all low-resolution, and if you instead use something like the Hugin panorama editor, you can preserve the resolution and it does a better job. Night flying with the spark? Silly or?

The Spark doesn't really have the best camera for night shots (small lenses don't capture much light)...my P3S does a better job to be honest. AFAIK the Mavic actually has the best camera for night shots.

    Best portable charger for Spark!?

Yeah definitely just go for a fast charge usb phone charger. That way you can just bring around a single charger for both your phone and your drone. They sell two-port versions of these, though sadly you can only charge one battery at once because it needs to be in the drone :s

    Video stream range

Yeah, even a small bush is enough to screw it up. Which sucks, because this thing is small enough to fly through bushes and trees, and the video from that is always super cool :(

The tote bag sucks - the hardcase + a backpack rocks.

I really just want something that fits nicely into my backpack honestly; such that I can also fit water bottles and other backpacking/hiking essentials. Maybe I just need to put together my own foam case to fit a backpack?

    Video stream range

    Exactly, yeah.

    Video stream range

Gah, I guess the forums just decided to stop sending me email notifications. I recently flew my drone 3400 feet away and didn't have signal issues. I did have to keep the antennas aimed correctly, but beyond that it worked just fine. Seems that sometimes the range is garbage, and sometimes it's...

The tote bag sucks - the hardcase + a backpack rocks.

Anyone else with me here? The only thing that's missing is a slot in the hardcase for the controller and the prop guards. I don't understand why they made the tote bag such that the hard case doesn't fit in it...

    Video stream range

I believe by default it's 5.8Ghz. Do you ever experience moments where the video locks up for ~1-5 seconds before coming back with some tearing? I also have to be really particular about aiming the antennas (antenna being | and the spark being S, orient like | S) or else it just loses...

Awesome, thanks! I'll try this out in just a second. Edit: Yup, that worked. Awesomeness.

    Video stream range

Weird, higher frequency should have lower range o.O When I first got my Phantom 3 Standard, I had horrible range issues. Like, I'd take it about 400 feet, and be losing signal entirely - not just video, but controls too. I had to send it back in three times before they just replaced the...

    Drone Gun

They're not the only ones who have made guns like this. Ars technica has done a few articles on them in the past, ie this one SkyWall 100: An anti-drone bazooka

    Video stream range

What kind of range have you guys gotten? I can control the thing from 1000+ feet, but the video feed consistently stutters/disconnects entirely at even 500 feet (which freaked me out a lot at first, but knowing that it still has control enough to do things like tell it to come home makes me feel...

    Looking up

So real quick question here: When I was originally looking at reviews for the Spark, a few of the early testers/reviewers were able to tilt the camera back enough that they actually looked UP (rather than just horizontally). Only a little bit but some. I've noticed that when taking panorama...
