Thanks for your reply azpilot61. I too use the Shield on my P3A as well as my Ipad Mini 2 and don't come across any problems from both. I was going to attempt to fly the Spark with the Shield but until i read more positive feedback from using this i think i'll give it a miss.

Hello Sparkies, was wondering if any of you good people fly the Spark using the Nvidia Shield K1 and if so do you encounter any problems whilst doing so. Currently i fly using IOS but id have a K1 but reading some of the horror stories in these threads about Android devices sort of put me off...

Hi Mark and Chris. The Smatree Case i have is a Hard Case, it can hold the Spark, Controller, 4 Batteries, Prop Guards and bits and bobs, there's even an area for the Spark Charger but i use this space for over things, as the Smatree Charger i have was a little bit bigger than the space...

Hi Chris, i have a Smatree case for mine, carries The Spark, 4 Batteries, Prop Guards and Spare Props as well as cables. It's air tight and water tight and makes a great Take off/Landing Pad. The case/bag that the Spark came with originally is now used to carry the Smatree Charger and 2 spare...

Same here Landondale704, i use an iPad Mini 2 and there's no facility for 2.4, but i use OTG and am getting good distance with that in the UK, not as good as my P3A but good nontheless.
