    4k?

...sure there would be "a lot more to crop" with 4k......but we're talking about a 1080p Spark using EIS currently-- apparently, the best "it" can do. Imagine trying to crop a heavily interpolated Spark 4k vid (I wonder if the Spark would just up-sample interpolate to 4k from EISed 1080p) ...

    4k?

....quite frankly, It would seriously worry me if DJI throttled that Spark camera up to 4k (even 2.xk), and even if DJI did, the 4k would in all likelihood be pretty horrendous and unusable (I could see a crippled 4k 24p or 30 interlaced max with this Spark lens technology !). Give me 1080 at 60...

Compass Reading on the DJI GO 4 App?

OK. Fair enough. I'm doing more research into pre-flight portable magnetometer use at drone launch sites...If I find anything compelling, I'll def. share it here.

GPS Tracker or something similar for fly aways

....thanks. I never considered this aspect. Interesting.

GPS Tracker or something similar for fly aways

....there are a lot of 3G trackers out on the market; however, you'll have to check your local Australian on-line Amazon/Gadget websites for something local and in stock (I'm in North America)... ....as far as Bluetooth "finders" are concerned: ....I think that Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.0 have a...

Compass Reading on the DJI GO 4 App?

...I have 2 phones and a tablet with magnetometer apps (I use these for other readings, not drone-related); wouldn't a magnetometer check (on a nice level surface near where you'll launch the drone) be beneficial? And, if beneficial, what reading would be a tolerable "field" to safely take off...

GPS Tracker or something similar for fly aways

...I agree with this, too. On tracking devices: ....there are many, many, MANY 2G/3G/GSM waterproof / water resistant mini trackers out there on the market today (with internal mini or micro SIMs) that can keep track of your "attached drone". They'll track your drone anywhere on Earth where...

    Thanks suprPHREAK. Good to know!

Do Spark photos & video hold EXIF geocoding info?

Hi All: ...I'd like to use Spark still images in a 2D (and 3D) photogrammetry context, and need to know what tags are written in the EXIF files of the still photos and video files (ie. are GPS / geocoding and IMU tags written into the photo and video headers) by Spark ?

Litchi vs. Autopilot vs. Go 4?

...following. This (future) native support for waypoints in the Spark would tip me heavily in favor of buying a Spark.

Anyone successfully put a filter (or any kind) on the odd-shaped Spark camera?

Excellent. Just what I was looking for. Thanks Oliver! Cheers, Derek-

    DJI SPARK range

OK. Check on the no improvement in flight distance and video latency. Now, RC to Bird in-flight disconnects vis Android: As I read through the OTG usage threads, it appears (anecdotally) that the OTG cable solidifies the "connection" between the controller (the RC) and "the bird" vis-a-vis...

Anyone successfully put a filter (or any kind) on the odd-shaped Spark camera?

....to go sideways on my own thread: ....what would the equivalent ND number be for your fixed Spark polarizer unit ? From my understanding of polarizers, you will get some equivalent ND effect...or, am I wrong? *On edit: ....its nice to be able to discuss technicals with the manufacturer's...

How many highly experienced pilots have "lost / crashed" their Spark ?

Noted. Good point. Question: ....completing the current UAS Part 107 successfully does not in itself make a skilled remote pilot ? What would the "practical" curriculum need to cover vis flying skill to "graduate" a skilled (junior experienced) pilot ? Thanks to all those who have responded...
