Let me know how it goes, I don't have a Samsung phone or gear vr but I know someone who does, wouldn't mind asking him to install litchi from my account if it works.

This is a bit of a old one but for anyone with the GearVR and a samsung phone have you tried disabling NFC before putting your phone in the Gear VR? Should stop it autorunning the Occulus software allowing other apps to work.

No, it changes to FPV mode so you can see where you are going when flying fast (front of Spark is at more of an angle when moving forwards in sport mode). Try changing the camera mode from fpv to follow is you want full motion downwards, but why you'd want to do that in sport mode I don't know.

I've got a Huawei P20 Pro and a USB otg with a miniUSB on one end and USB-C on the other. Doesn't seem to matter when I plug the cable in, in fact if I start the RC and plug the cable in (or vice-versa) the Go 4 app starts up and connects then waits until I start the Spark before the Go Fly...

That makes more sense, so what you're really saying is that sport more uses around 40-45% more juice per minute to give you twice the speed?

That math doesn't really work, 50% more juice per min giving twice the speed means same distance but less flight time.
