    RTH - Return To Home

I could be wrong, but I thought the only way it gets initiated on its own, is extreme battery loss. Considering it is a top-level first screen menu item, there should be an equally easy way to stop it, and simply land (if the battery is sufficient).

    RTH - Return To Home

Luckily, RTH should not automatically kick in unless the batteries are critically low.

    "Eyren Haven" at dawn...

Three exposure AEB, merged in Aurora, further edited in Luminar. Full res here: Dawn Patrol on the Great Egg Harbor River The Great Egg Harbor River, a national park in New Jersey, got its name from Dutch explorer Cornelius Jacobsen Mey. In 1614, Mey came upon the inlet to the Great Egg Harbor...

DJI Spark HDR still shot, Forsythe Wildlife Refuge

The Spark almost always clips the extreme highlights (white surf foam, etc), and crunches down the shadow tones. We always try to shoot our tourism stuff when light is dimmer, and not at high noon. With the Spark, it really needs a ton of light to get a good exposure. Dimly lit stuff produces a...

DJI Spark HDR still shot, Forsythe Wildlife Refuge

Actually, it was a really crappy example of why and where to use the HDR. I was surprised how close the two versions were, and did the single exposure one last. I always shoot with the AEB function on, and a lot of other pics I had done needed the other exposures to fill in lost detail. If you...

DJI Spark HDR still shot, Forsythe Wildlife Refuge

Here is a better side by side of three source AEB exposures, and HDR merge and a the version from the single exposure using NIK. Forsythe: DJI Spark The edits were done on two different computers at two different times. The Spark tends to over sharpen its images, and I did the HDR one first...

DJI Spark HDR still shot, Forsythe Wildlife Refuge

This is a location we have shot for tourism marketing before. The place is beautiful, but due to the wild natural landscaping, the building and site are obscured by 3-6 feet tall plantings that surround the property. A slight elevation cleaned up the feral surroundings, and gave glimpses of the...

    Spark as a complement/travel drone

2 bucks cheaper, a shoulder strap, and a cutout for the charger? Good deal! Time to launch speed for the Spark is amazing. I am a total newb but can still get it in the air in under two minutes. I originally placed my order with DJI directly, after two weeks of the runaround I cancelled and...

    Spark as a complement/travel drone

I am quite happy with it and did notice it sells under a bunch of different brand names. I was leaning towards a backpack style bag, but they were very expensive (around $100), and were HUGE. My photographer buddy bought a Spark the same day as I did, he bought this bag. After seeing it in...

    Spark as a complement/travel drone

I bought a landing pad for around $15, did not think I needed it, but it actually is pretty handy. I have 5 batteries, and instead of adding a 6th, I spent a little less ($39) to buy a RAVpower 20100mAh Input & Output Type C Battery Pack. The larger works for my craft, the remote, the batteries...

    Spark as a complement/travel drone

I would not consider flying without the controller, period. There are enough little buggy quirks to worry about without introducing that deficiency, and your range is going to be severely hampered. The bag is rubbish, and the prop guards may come in handy (have not used them). The charger is...

Spark for professional use? Please comment.

If you are mostly doing stills, you should be fine with the Spark. I was on the fence for quite a bit, and went with the Spark (and have zero regrets). The Spark and Mavic have the same sensors. For video you gain an extra gimbal movement, but the preset flights with the Spark produce nice...

Not sure what the updates on this are, but... it apparently does work: Wireless FPV Glasses for the DJI Spark Drone - Epson Moverio | CheesyCam
