wow, can't tell for sure, because of the photo perspective. are you using a full sized ipad, not a mini ipad 2, 3 or 4? might be a bit awkward for me, but the view of what the drone sends back must be amazing.

all the video storage is on the drone, on the sd card. the ipad, like a phone, is used to help with controlling the flight of the spark. the dji go 4 application runs on the ipad same as on an iphone or android OS phone. i find i like the ipad because it is larger so things are more spread out...

i don't believe there is much of any functional difference between the two, exact same size, even the same processor i think.

there is a usable wifi activity viewer in the go4 application. there are all sorts of 2.8 signals around where but there is always a clear channel to use. if i was flying in a city or even an area within a cluster of houses i would opt to use 5.4.

the ipad mini 3 works well as a monitor. fits into rc.

they're toys, it is ok when they break. just fix them and keep having fun. that's my mantra anyway.
