Connected everything without OTG, but still doesn't show 2.4G, only 5.8G. Without the OTG and 5.8G, I will have better results?

I arrived in Spain, and my video signal is lost at a short distance (with OTG). I believen the WiFi needs changing. When I go custom, it only shows the 5.8G, but I believe I need the 2.4G. How do I fix this? I've done a reset & reinstall of app. Can someone supply detailed wealth through?

Got an OTG cable for my android, and it now connects!

I did short flights at Lake Havasu's 110 heat.

FYI.... on Android.

I connect the same as the DJI app..... Spark is connected to RC. Phone is connected to RC WiFi. AirMaps flight plan filled, then started. Map is displayed, but has the disconnected icon, see attached.

Everything is connected via WiFi and flight details filled out on AirMaps. I get the attached screen that I'm not connected. Do I need an OTG connection?

The date code is on the white sticker..... June 2017.

The main areas are Disneyland & SNA airport.
