I've definitely had my Spark drift away during just reasonable winds. Had to put it in Sport mode and fly it back manually. I was surprised the vision system didn't manage to keep it in position. Posts like all these above give me more encouragement to try though

My experience of using a battery pack is a 10000 mAh one which can fill my Samsung S6 3-4 times. I charged one Spark battery and it drained it by half. Doesn't add up to me so I won't be trying that again

Press the camera settings button under the shutter button, switch the Auto to M then you can push ISO up etc. It's all in the manual.

All I can add to this is if you are in RTH, yes you can override. Either press the stop or flight cancel button on remote, or pull the sticks the opposite way to flight. More details in the manual. Also even if it's on 1% battery you can keep it in the air with the left stick, but let go and it...

The Samsung Note 8 is about 163mm tall, but the manual says is 160mm is the maximum size of phone for the remote controller. Have you got a Note 8 and does it fit? And if so, with or without a case? Thanks!

Always do the Drone firmware with the Assistant to avoid that hassle, but yeah why my android can't use mobile data when the WiFi has no Internet, I've no idea...

What about using one of the other apps where you can pre program a route? Don't know if Autopilot etc do elevation changes though
