Spark's are pretty hard to spot from another drone from a distance, the only big hint to notice a spark is the noise it produces but even if it's further away you wouldn't notice it because it'll be too quiet

I wouldn't fly without info from the app you don't know how much battery you have, your GPS status ect there's a lot of important info you need to know
