Just to follow up on the final result. DJI replaced my spark completely. They also replaced the propellers and battery. Overall time was right at a week without. Very good experience actually.

That's where I was thinking. It would suck bad to RTH to find that you've drifted 5 ft and watch the spark take a drink.

My only thought about launching from a boat is the boat will move a bit even if anchored.

I just got confirmation that my spark is being repaired under warranty. Looks like there was some damage to one of the motors. They're also reaching the battery that wasn't able to be found. I had to confirm all of the serial numbers from the batteries that I still have. I'm sure they're going...

I just got my battery clip yesterday. Even with the new gen batteries that I have I'll be using it just to make sure. Decided to fill out the support ticket and send it off just to be sure. I'll post back when I get it back.

Did they replace the battery as well?

With much skepticism, I contacted them and asked if I had any recourse. I was advised that even though the drone seems to be working that I need to send it in to be checked out and repaired if needed. They said to complete the ticket and call back to advise that the battery was lost. Supposedly...

Maybe that's why it was such a deal? Those items should come with the FMC, unless I'm missing something.
