    Question: Course Lock Workaround?

Yes it does for the Spark too (but not waypoints and orbit as of yet)

    Question: Course Lock Workaround?

Litchi has CourseLock and HomeLock - almost worth getting just for those two alone

Spark+Autopilot+Waypoint Mission created in Google Earth Pro - WOW!

So this a patch (hack) to the Android version of DJI Go to allow way points ? - no proof in the video it can do this without the controller... (even if the on screen prompts say that it will) - unless I missed something - (looks like the app was fooled into thinking it was a Mavic (?))

Autopilot+Spark - Flight Mode switch on RC

I think you can actually just launch in AutoPilot w/o running GO at all and start flying - you should not have them both running (one in foreground and one sleeping in background) / (as you've likely seen mentioned elsewhere) - what I like to do is start GO on the first battery and fly around...

    Autopilot issue

I have IOS 11 but haven't tried AutoPilot since upgrading - overall tho I think is a bit buggy / laggy (seems fine on the ipad - iphone 6S not so much) - I would expect more app updates soon from the devs and an IOS 11.x update to come out shortly

Spark+Autopilot+Waypoint Mission created in Google Earth Pro - WOW!

That’s correct they use a custom flight controller to get around that limitation - which again is why it needs constant contact to the Spark

Spark+Autopilot+Waypoint Mission created in Google Earth Pro - WOW!

I think the Mavic and P4Pro will allow waypoints to be uploaded and fly the route if connection interrupted with remote and RTH or hover at end (but again not the Spark because its SDK doesn't allow this)

Spark+Autopilot+Waypoint Mission created in Google Earth Pro - WOW!

No it has to be in constant communication with the remote / app for it to work as they are using a custom flight controller in the app - (instead of the one built into the Spark SDK) to get waypoints to work.

Spark+Autopilot+Waypoint Mission created in Google Earth Pro - WOW!

Yea it works really good with the Spark as long as your remote / spark have a good radio connection -

    Autopilot Beta

I found the same thing - for some reason AutoPilot seems more sensitive - worked really well at my second location - its super powerful - cause of the shorter Spark battery life you basically want your mission ready to go before you boot it up and launch (again did this on the ipad and synced to...

    Autopilot Beta

I had some weirdness at one site (in a busier area with Cell Towers etc) - I tried it again at a remote site (park away from any source of RF) and it worked perfectly (so try it again at a new location)

    Autopilot Beta

I tried AutoPilot in a different area (with perfect radio link) and it worked really well - pre-planned at home on the ipad and flew the mission on iphone at the remote site - heres a link to the vid: https://youtu.be/qscsmHtXS-w (this was completely hands off after engaging in the air at the...

    Autopilot Beta

Thanks - yea I force close DJI Go before launching AutoPilot - it keeps disconnecting tho and I have to quit it and relaunch Go to get the Spark back - thanks re: home info

    Autopilot issue

I see the Spark added to the latest 4.2 (AutoPilot) which is why I bought it - but the docs and tutorials need to be updated to mention the Spark details and notes (also curious about RTH and how to set it properly or does it happen automatically) - good idea with the manual setting
