New Firmware V 01.00.1000 (2018.07.19)
I've noticed that for iOS there is no more special plug in sequence for the OTG cable. It can remain plugged in and it will connect automatically- John McDonald

Compass display in mapbox
I had the same problem exactly I tried calibrating the compass at least 20 yards away from the phone the lights on the spark will tell you when calibration is complete it work for me I hope it works for you- John McDonald
