I would take it apart and check for corrosion on the pcb's. It usually is a gradual corrosion. If it was fresh water, it's less likely to corrode though.

I guess that if the spark flies outdoors and indoors it will not, just disable obstacle avoidance and be careful.. any object 2 metres in front of the spark will alert you on mobile both visually and audibly.

ATTI mode does not bother me. I'm very proficient in GPS free drones in FPV. My concern is that since I cannot enter into ATTI mode manually, would the loss of GPS signal freak out the spark, making it go out of control without VPS? Or does it just behave like the phantom 4 in ATTI mode and lets...

Yep.. unfortunately fog is like the ground (when you are above it) It will come down, but it will take it's sweet time :) In my case I would like VPS to hold the position of the spark if GPS fails under the bridge. I believe I read your fog thread last week.

I'm dying to fly at slow speed under this stone bridge in Mosta, Malta Europe. I have no problem disabling obstacle avoidance. My question is, will my spark go crazy without GPS and VPS guidance? Any previous experiences? The people abseiling and on the top demonstrates the size of the bridge...

Try cleaning bottom VPS sensors.
