Why wont they tell us what the updates do? I am not blindly updating something that is working properly. A lot of go4 updates are for new drones and just stick us with a lot of overhead we dont need or use.

i can sacrifice a little clarity in trade for seeing where the drone is going. It is actually not enough to notice when you are oudoors.

I also have a box that can be checked and the screen gets very bright for oudoors. It reads Outdoors. Every phone should have that feature. It helps a lot.

If your phone supports only 2.4, then you have to use OTG and version 4.1.15. If your phone does not support OTG or 5.8ghz, blame DJI for their careless lack of Android support in their latest releases. It seems that once I select 5.8, it stays on 5.8. I am lucky. Why DJI is not supporting us...

Easiest way is to use Wifi Analyzer. Click on wrench icon, then next screen you will see available wifi frequencies. If you only see 2.4, that is all you have.
