    Quickshot Rockets and drift

Who knows what causes glitched, like following a target. But my experience is that most glitches are of my own doing. Because I fly in mountains, canyons, etc, Spark does not see high terrain tops. So i adjusted my Maximum camera angle upward, but that is at the expense of its lowest downward...

    DJI Android IOS/Tablet Support List

Hi Folks, There have been numerous questions and experiences shared about various phones and tablets for flying Spark/DJI Go4. The discussions are good, but I'm interested in what DJI has to say on the topic because, after all, it is their software and their drone. I visited DJI's Download...

    Mud Formation- Mexican Mountain Wilderness

Not that it matters, but from afar, without being able to touch the formation, I’d guess it’s sandstone. If those curved lines are trough crossbeds that’s is. But hey, I wasn’t there. Nice video by the way.

    Video editor recommendation

Hi from Montana. If you are using iPhone, Splice by GoPro is excellent and Free. It has functions $$editors have and lots of music too. On a desktop, I use Adobe Premiere Pro. Cheers !

DJI Spark Camera/Gimbal Calibration With Python

I wish I could help you but I can’t. However, I am interested in followup on the shotgun story. So was the shooter provoked? An accident? Is shooting there against the law? Please tell the story. Thanks.

Spark Gimbal Jerky Movement Fixed at ~<10 Speed

I have had a similar experience that correlated with high dust at takeoff/landing sites. Si i carefully hold and move the camera while blowing joints with compressed air. That corrects stickiness (jerkiness) for me. Good luck!

Flying in Sweetwater Creek valley just outside Yellowstone National Park

I did use Active Track driving my van this Fall, also in Wyoming. Turned out real nice. Photo here:

Flying in Sweetwater Creek valley just outside Yellowstone National Park

No active track.Cold, not much battery left, didn’t want to take the time to setup. I’m reminded that I have much more Spark video that looks pretty good, some not, but I edited it out of the full hiking YouTube video was getting long at 5 min. Yeh, the snow pattern is all about warmer W facing...

Help please. Have not seen this error/warning before.

That happened to me once. I was in a narrow area/canyon so I sent Spark up, not very high, just to get more satellites. Without thinking about it, I was facing forward holding the controller while looking at my iPhone. Antennas straight up to Spark (where I should have pointed them forward or...

Flying in Sweetwater Creek valley just outside Yellowstone National Park

Yes and no. It burned down. Only some fencing remained. The forest service did much to remove any remnants. The only thing left is dead areas, yellow staining, and the strong smell of H2S from an old hot spring.

Flying in Sweetwater Creek valley just outside Yellowstone National Park

I visited this same valley about this time last year (I live just north across the border in Montana). It was light snow then too. My 1st thought is that the area has much much less precipitation than mid-Yellowstone. Nearby Cody gets 41” snow and Yellowstone average is about 150”. Our hike was...

Yes and I often forget to use Sport. It’s the flight getting “there” I like videoing so in Sport ya really have to be stable. I’ll remember next time, thanks.

Flying in Sweetwater Creek valley just outside Yellowstone National Park

Here is a YouTube of a hike I took Dec 27 this year up a snowy canyon in Wyoming near Yellowstone. Aside from just wanting to hike that drainage, we wanted to see the remains of an old Lodge after the 2008 Gunbarrel Fire. It's all manual DJI Spark flying and with so much open space, it was...
