Hey man, Thanks for the help! I read up yesterday about the host situation. At the moment my adapter was connected to my phone side so my phone was acting as the host. I have ordered a micro usb OTG which hopefully allows the RC to now become the host. So hopefully that sorts out my issues.

I have purchased a Thor Video feed OTG cable, Micro USB into USB type C (RC straight into Samsung connection) so hopefully that works.

What white cable are you using that plugs into the adapter and your phone? Is that an OTG cable or just your normal Samsung charging cable?

The Samsung S7 and S8 comes with different connectors. You have a micro usb into a normal usb. Where as my connector is usb type C (the new samsung charging port) into normal usb.

It's not backwards, it doesn't fit the other way around. The adapter came with the phone (Samsung Type C adapter into normal USB) and the other cable is micro USB. The micro USB won't fit into the Samsung and the type C (samsung adapter) won't fit into the Spark

That is what I was trying to find out. Are all cables suitable for OTG as long as you can get the connections to fit or do you need a specific cable. Ya just a normal charging cable from a power bank
