I've never tried flying without a controller as I read and was told that the range is very limited. I have 2 different batteries and I alternate them as I fly. I'd have to mark them and keep an eye out next time.

this is not bad either. It looks like just a charger which would be perfect. I picked up cheap 10,000 mha $17 charger from bestbuy so this would work. Thanks! May have to get it from eBay.

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. That's actually not a bad solution. A little bit bulkier but if I ever get more batteries (currently have 2), then that would be perfect. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

Glad you were able to save your spark. I got my replacement this week and I'm going to really make sure everything is set like it should be before flying. I'm so paranoid now.

I wasn't even using an iPhone so I'm not sure where that info came from. Besides it doesn't matter since I was using the actual controller anyway.
