2800ft is 853 meters. I have reached much better ranges before. This is not spectacular, except you are on CE.

If you got channel 1-11, then youre FCC, if you got 1-13, then you're CE. Check in the Wifi tab.

In residential areas with lots of home-2.4GHz-Wifi 5.8 is better, in remote areas with not much wifi around, 2.4 is better.

Yeah, 100% sure this is a GPS glitch. I fly FPV racers too and anything above 100km/h is fast as hell, you will definitely notice.

I don't see any GPS loss in the flight logs. Only: "Compass Error. Exit P-GPS Mode; Yaw Error" and lots of "Yaw Error". Probably compass calibration necessary.

There will probably be an FCC Mod for the Air as well sooner or later.

I just use an orange towell, lol. Works just like the "Helipad" for a few $$$. Precision landing is very accurate. Don't forget to rise vertically to about 10m altitude (or whatever that is in American feet) at launch.

Yes, OTG works well, all data is now available via OTG.

I can confirm, OTG works well on iOS with DJI Go 4 App 4.2.4.
