    Flying Spark out of site

I meant to say, those are things most selfie drones can not do. Also, an Inspire 2 can be used as a selfie drone (albeit a cumbersome one!). And I seem to recall Mavic Pro and Mavic Air ads from DJI that show each being used very similarly to the Spark ads. So does that mean DJI is calling...

    Flying Spark out of site

In all of those, the Spark is used as a selfie drone, it's true. But not exclusively as a selfie drone in any of them. Tracking cars, tracking sports, et cetera... those are not selfies.

    Spark 3-Battery charger question

Mine charges three simultaneously. It will NOT charge a battery that's too cold or too warm. That's probably what you saw: take the battery, freshly used, out of the Spark and put it into the charger... it will not even register for several minutes.

Selling my goggles that I've never used

You might do well to sell them later. Many people (including me) received a $100 coupon from DJI to be used against the goggles (making them $399). I think it expires mid February.

Check out the FLiFLi drone AirDrop payload release system...

    Moving gimble to point forward

When I first started my Spark, it goes through a gimbal test, pointing straight down, then up, et cetera. Does yours do that? Is there an error message on the app screen about gimbal overload?

[Noobie Question] Spark - really that unreliable?

Sorry, I mean something official from DJI company, not some post in a social site.

[Noobie Question] Spark - really that unreliable?

Sorry, I wasn't finished. DJI do support OTG for Mavic. I keep reading people who say DJI doesn't support it for Spark. Not saying that's not so, but I've never seen any corroboration from DJI on that. (Honest question, please don't get upset: can anyone point me to something officially from...

[Noobie Question] Spark - really that unreliable?

Irregardless is not a word. Android is the platform for Crystal Sky, which works flawlessly for me, and apparently for others.

    4.1.22 android

Bottom line: they are not. OTG does not influence the connection between controller and aircraft.

Ummm... The wifi limitation dies not apply to this scenario. Elimination of the OTG cable means you have to use wifi between your smart device and the controller. That's a few inches/centimeters distance at all times. Don't get me wrong: I sorely miss OTG function too. But let's not confuse...

GPS Tracker or something similar for fly aways

Sorry, I didn't realize I posted to an old topic/reply.

GPS Tracker or something similar for fly aways

Two things. First, I have that same tracker device, with a pair of "tags," one for each of my drones. Love it. No issues at all! But I hang mine from the leg via twisties so zero chance of affecting the props. In response to the above: getting close isn't good enough if there are woods...

    The obsession with increasing distance...

Yes, and what's between you and the craft (trees? Power lines), and so many other factors... none of which are under DJI's control.
