Yep 5 use the spark and just a remote control with no phone not using the app that works perfectly just don't take it out too far keep in line of sight that's it and you'll be fine

To reset your Sparks memory and all that hit and hold the power button for 9 seconds it should beep 3 times or 4. Then the spark should be reset and ready for you to sell where you can just go right into the DJI Go app do it manually that way

So I grew a pair of balls and connected just my controller to the spark without any mobile device and for the first time with the controller I had such a blast going from P mode to S Mode S Mode is so much quicker and responsive wow not one single problem with it connected instantly

That definitely sounds like a circuit board or something like that internal I would definitely return it to DJI for them to look at it
