    AutoPilot and the Spark

Yes, you can use autopilot with your phone connected directly to the Spark´s wifi very much like you can use the DJI go app connected to the spark directly. Just be careful for the range of your Autoflight plan to be within the limited range of the phone-to-spark wifi range.

once you slam it into the ground... which locators/ trackers are recommended?

Thanks for that list, much appreciated, I have gone and got me a Alcatel Move track as it was cheaply available & will keep eyes open for a Loc8tor at reasonable price on ebay etc.

    AutoPilot and the Spark

Autopilot also offers the option of mission continuation on connection loss, however at the cost of limited functionalities. Example no bezier curves. Just tick the option.

    This was bound to happen

Am I mistaken or is the RC WiFi code always 12341234 by default? I find that rather easy to remember...

once you slam it into the ground... which locators/ trackers are recommended?

Good day & clear skies everyone, was wondering on whether anyone could give me some advise on a lighweight tracker that would allow the spark to be found even after the impact... has anyone made experiences with loc8tor (presumably bluetooth based?) or even strapping something like a...

    AutoPilot and the Spark

Autopilot disengages as you described by pressing disengage. There is however also another failsafe/override build in besides the sometimes complicated and error prone RTH (which is just another auto-flight program and no good if you need to quickly and manually get out of harms way) -> SPORT...

    Landing pad

Agree with Tom that the hand landing is simply the most pragmatic way of getting it back. 50% i also reverse it back to me to hand-land, the other 50% it just lands... on grass, tarmac etc. never really felt the need for a "landing pad". For those arguing "gimbal protection" i´d counter with the...

    Rising above the fog

before I make a mistake someone has made before... better ask: has anyone tried to cover one/both IR sensors in order to disable the "land-on-cloud feature" had my spark drop like a stone from 100m after clearing a fog bank and trying to get back down. Now wondering if there is a way to...

    Nolimitdronez question

have you had any luck trying to disable the sensors? I recently had a 100m vertical crash landing due to this "landing on cloud" feature. pondering covering the sensors with a bit of sticky tape but wanted to see whether anyone else had made that experience before I wreck the spark ;)

    Nolimitdronez question

Litchi doesnt support waypoints for the spar, only Autopilot does.
