This may sound like a dumb question...but, why do you have to be connected to a WiFi network to download firmware updates?

My device (iPad, iPhone) is connected via Verizon LTE...is that not good enough?

Thanks in advance...

There's an option at the beginning of opening the DJI Go 4 app and connecting to the Spark for a software update. It'll ask you whether or not it's okay to use Cellular data for downloading (I said no since wifi isn't that much harder to use) But if it isn't working I'd say you clicked don't use at the beginning. But it makes sense in a data usage point of view, also Wifi is usually 10 fold faster than cellular data depending on your carrier and plan.
Do you remember the prompt at the beginning of opening the app and trying to update the firmware?
Just got my Spark today (wonderful way to wake up i must say =D) And finished updating just in time for mother nature to drop a thunder storm right over my house... Feelin the love :p
