HOW TO: Change the Wi-Fi frequency and/or channel

When connected to the remote controller or Spark Wi-Fi network, follow these steps to switch to a different Wi-Fi frequency and/or channel:

1) Connect to the remote controller or Spark Wi-Fi network.

2) Start DJI GO.

3) Go to the "Wi-Fi Settings" section of DJI GO and select "2.4G" or "5.8G" (depending on your desired Channel Mode).



4) Select the desired Channel Index:



Note: You'll be disconnected from the Wi-Fi network after selecting the Channel Index.

5) Connect to the remote controller or Spark Wi-Fi network.

6) Go back to DJI GO and verify the new Channel Mode and Channel Index selections.

Today I had one of the worst days, I had to run down my road after my spark as it had lost signal from my mobile phone and since then I've been getting a poor radio signal warning. A problem I've discovered is, I buywant to change my channel to a more solid and secure one with no disturbance but there's no signal strength bars showing while my AC is connected so i can't see what's going on so I can't select a proper channel. What can I do to solve the no bars showing problem?

So does changing this actually change the RC’s WiFi channel to the AC or is this just for the phone-to-RC WiFi connection?
