DJI Goggles (Racing Edition)

It looks like we're going to see a new version of the DJI Goggles soon (the "Racing Edition"). See more details in these FCC documents.

What is the distance with these new racing edition goggles using the SPARK? I heard with old white goggles someonw only getting about 50 to 100 yards before video break up. Has this been fixed with these new ones?

The distance will be equivalent since these goggles also connect to the Spark remote controller via an OTG cable. There is no way to connect them to the Spark wirelessly.

Are we 100% sure. I would have thought DJI would have increase the range of these new goggles because they say they work with Spark. A lot of spark owners will be disappointed when they buy these goggles only to find out they can't go more then a 100 yards.

Why/how would using the DJI Goggles (or any goggles/glasses) reduce the Spark's range?

I assumed they would have the same distance as if you used your connected via OTG cable.
