Doesn't work with Spark. At least not with the controller that comes with Spark. It says to switch controller to F mode - which is not on the controller. Just for grins I switched to sport mode to see if it had any effect. Nope. Deleted the app.

1. unable to see the offline map ( was planning to do a download of the map)
2. should it be normal that i would not able to see the signal strength (using OTG)?

i wonder what the odds of this being updated to the 4.12 version that now officially supports OTG... then all youd have to do is add a few great features as a ton of them are already included in the newest version.

I'm currently using NLD but I miss the pano feature. So I installed the Mod 2 version and... the pano mode is still missing.
I'm using my drone with the latest DJI firmware, is this why I have this issue ?

Can someone help me please, I've had my spark since dec,2017 I recently download the new update 577 , ever since I've been having trouble with my spark a few feet off the ground I lose connection and it returns to home and it comes down fast hard, my fone is Moto z force droid

I'm on the same setup but with Xiaomi Mi MIX. Yesterday reached 950m distance at low 40m height until first video link issues (quality, not disconnection). More than enough, so I turned back. As comparison, original app allowed to fly...150m and disconnected...

1) If I buy today a new drone (spark or phantom) and I want use this mod version of dji go 4 app.... must I leave the factory firmware of drone and RC ? or can I update both firmwares ( drone and RC)?
2) downloading actual official firmware is dangerous if I want use mod dji 4? can A new firmware disable some function of a modded version? For example, using a mod version today I can disable aeroscope but with new firmware i can't it.
3) if I fly with mod dji go 4, the drone send to dji server the log file when I update firmware or it send only official flight?

1) Do you need both versions? Why mod your primary, first device? How are you going to conclude It moar better
2) Wont happen. By doing something like that DJI would break the API-compatibility and cause lots of upgrade/downgrade troubles for 'legal' product. You don't change firmware unless theres important technical malfunctions, and the interfacing should be pretty much set in stone.
DJI did make it harder at some point to mod their applications, but I don't think they'd risk pestering developers with sneaky firmware/app secret magic...
3) You can configure a fake login, it's in the documentation ? Why worry?
In lieu of my advice, theres lots of reports of people using both versions side by side, should be no problem.
Oh, just make sure to disable any GSM data and Bluetooth before flying.

Well, I never insert gsm card thanks ;-)
about first question I wish use primary device with modded version and in case of low battery I wish use an iPad air.
Ok, i will leave factory firmware inside the phantom and RC
But what appen if I use iPad and official app wants check online updates?
(I'm sure the official app after a lot of time wants check online for working)
About 2 question ... you Are saying that I can be quite if I start an update inside drone? Is it right?
About 3th I don't want comunicate my position. I'm not interested at NFZ.
I DON't want comunicate in broadcast my position in real time if I'm at my home. That's all.
But if I fly with this mod version save drone anyhow the log file in its chip?
I am using the mi modded version (not lite). However in offline mode google maps are not visable. Is there anything I can do to change this in that Version? I read somewhere that an app (app cloner) can change this but somehow the manual is not working...

You have to download the area your flying at in the actual Google maps app then offline will work with the Google maps in the mod 2 app. Hope that helps

First off the version that i´m using is 4.1.15, downloaded from the link in the first post of this thread.
I don´t get any messages to "switch Wlan settings", and secondly I have many more number of channels available than 11 or 13.
And I have both channel 11 and 13 available that I can choose from.
So I guess this means i´m not in FCC mode?? In that case what could be wrong?
Should the "Switch Wlan settings" appear when using this app for the first time?
And should I have so many channels available, as well as both channel 11 and 13 available?

It was the same here plus I didn't see a picture. After switching it all off and reconnecting it then showed 11 channels and was in FCC. Works great. I especially like the mavic extras (cinema is great!)
