After copious amounts of vodka I thought I'd give sphere-pano a go.
Behind the house and this time of morning very safe in case of a fly-away.
Up to 100 feet, pano mode for the 46 images, then into Photoshop for the 'little
world ' processing. Total time including launch/landing, moving images, processing
about 10 min's.
I think after this I will look for a 'cooler' place to do this type of imagery. Lot's of fun.backyard 1280.jpg

I just can't seem to get excited about this capability. I fail to see the appeal or practicality. But, hey...seems to be a lot of folks who do like it for whatever reason!

Yeah a fad that will fade. I know a few photographers that love fish-eye shots. To me one fish-eye goes a long way. Same with 'tiny world' but I do like the overall effect, not necessarily
in my backyard practice run but in some of the shots I've seen.

One advantage of the 360 pano: take any subset of those images and stitch them into a non-sphere pano after the fact. A good catch-all plan if you're not sure if you have any good angles or only have a minute to capture something.
