Even if I'm connected to the controller wifi at first, when I plug the otg cable, the controller kills its wifi after a second or two. Are you sure your controller keeps its wifi up even when the phone is connected with otg cable?

That's strange. When I connect the otg cable the controller wifi is not available anymore so I cannot connect to the controller with wifi and otg at the same time

Thanks for your replies. Wi-Fi usually works great when I'm flying in open spaces with no wifi interferences. It's just that otg was more reliable when I was flying in town with lots of nearby wifi. What bothering me the most is that I can't figure out why it suddenly stopped working ...

Android latest version 4.2.6 still ask if you want to change the regional settings. So you still can cancel. But OTG doesn't work, you have to keep 4.1.15
